A wallet bought AVGO on the spot market during a period of no liquidity and ended up paying far above the prevailing price, according to monitoring data cited by Odaily. HyperliquidNews said the address placed three market orders to buy AVGO spot. The average execution price came in at $99,173, while AVGO was trading at $393 at the time. That put the fill price at 252 times the market price. The trade resulted in a loss of $49,792 for the address. Odaily attributed the monitoring data to HyperliquidNews and said the related information was provided by @Versace_Trader. No additional identity details for the wallet were disclosed in the brief.
